Review on the Blackberry Z10

The new Blackberry Z10 has been released with a long overdue update to compete alongside other smartphone such as the iPhone 5, Google Nexus 4, HTC Windows 8x and Nokia Lumia 920.

Blackberry Z10 Review Blackberry Z10 costs around £480 to purchase SIM free, without a contract, and comes with the advanced 4G network allowing for much faster data speeds and video streaming. The Blackberry Z10 has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and takes micro SIM cards or micro SD cards of up to 32GB of storage.

Blackberry Z10 Design

The design of the Blackberry Z10 is similar in size to that of other smartphones with a larger screen than the iPhone 5 but slightly smaller screen and thicker handset than the Samsung Galaxy S3 with a 4.2-inch, 1280 x 768 display. There is an 8 mega-pixel camera, which can be accessed easily from the front of the screen by pressing and holding the camera icon.

Blackberry 10 OS

Blackberry Z10 is the first where Blackberry uses it new Blackberry 10 (formerly RIM) operating system. The Blackberry 10 features a new interface which gives you up to 8 mini frames of the apps you are using with 4 on the one screen, and a scroll down feature to the other 4. The user can then swipe the screen from right to left to access the other apps, with 16 per page much like the Apple iOS or Android apps although there are much fewer to choose from.

Blackberry Hub

Messages and notifications on the Blackberry 10 are easy to read and pop up to the side of the screen all in the one place called the ‘Hub’ integrated to your Facebook message and Twitter accounts, Gmail, texts and missed calls. A fantastic way to keep in touch with your business, friends and social feeds all in the one place.
